At Tenthpin we are seeking a talented, client-facing, and collaborative SAP developer to join our rapidly growing team. The successful applicant will have strong technical expertise in developing applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and creating side-by-side extensions or applications on SAP BTP using Node.js or Java. The Opportunity

As an SAP CAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative programs and enhancements to support our clients' needs. Tenthpin is SAP’s No 1 Life Science innovation partner and is known for industry leadership in the SAP Life Science Cloud products.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include but not be limited to:

·       Development: Design, develop, and maintain CAP programs and enhancements, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.

·       Contribute to the design and development of extensions using SAP CAP (Node.js/Java) and/or ABAP Eclipse for SAP BTP-based applications with a clean core approach.

·       Integrate CAP-based applications with S/4HANA using OData, Event Mesh, and RESTful services.

·       Collaborate with full-stack and integration developers to support hybrid (on-premise and cloud) architectures.

·       Consulting / Professional Services: Collaborate with functional colleagues and clients to understand business requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver effective technical solutions that meet project goals.

Your Experience

You are a technically strong developer with excellent communication skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality solutions.

Relevant SAP capabilities include:

·       SAP CAP development on SAP BTP using Node.js or Java.

·       Building applications or side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP that integrate with Cloud ERP Private.

·       Working with OData APIs and REST services to integrate with S/4HANA.

·       Familiarity with SAP Build Apps.

·       Experience with Eclipse, ABAP Cloud and RAP, or an interest in developing these skills.

·       3+ years working on SAP CAP implementation projects, including participation in at least one full project lifecycle.

·       Strong understanding of SAP Cloud, BTP and ERP technologies.

·       Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment and collaborating with clients.

SAP certifications in CAPM, ABAP Cloud or SAP Build are desirable.
