SAP Technical Delivery Lead (Anywhere in India; preferred Bengaluru and Pune)

Brief Overview

·       The ideal candidate should possess 10–15 years of experience in leading high-performing technical teams across technologies such as ABAP, CPI, Fiori, CAPM, BTP, RAP and related platforms.

·       Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices is must.

·       Should have successfully completed 5–8 end-to-end implementation projects, managing delivery from initiation through to completion.

·       A core responsibility of this role is to act as the bridge between project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.

·       The candidate will oversee delivery for multiple global clients in the Life Sciences industry, guaranteeing that all outcomes are of the highest quality, delivered on time, and within budget.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.      Technical oversight:

·       Develop a structured approach to ensure precise effort and resource estimation in SAP development

·       Guide teams on architecture, design, and implementation to ensure scalable, secure, maintainable and re-usable solutions.

·       Review technical deliverables to ensure compliance with standards, best practices, and business requirements.

2.      Quality Assurance:

·       Establish quality benchmarks and sustainable structure to ensure deliverables are reviewed against the benchmarks.

·       Conduct regular code reviews and testing oversight to ensure defect free releases

·       Introduce best in class standard or custom solutions to improve code quality

3.      Stakeholder Management:

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders and internal IT stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.

·       Communicate delivery progress, risks, and issues clearly and effectively.

4.      Team Leadership:

·       Mentor and coach developers to build high-performing teams.

·       Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

5.      Risk & Issue Management:

·       Identify potential delivery risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

·       Resolve technical challenges proactively to avoid delays or quality compromises.

6.      Status Reporting and communication:

·       Provide clear, concise, and timely updates to stakeholders, steering committees, and executive sponsors.

·       Create project status reports covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.

·       Highlight issues, blockers, and corrective actions in reports.

 

Minimum Educational Qualifications

·       B.E Computer Science or Equivalent degree

·       SAP certifications are preferred
