SAP Transportation Management (TM) Technical Consultant (all genders)

The Opportunity

As an SAP TM Consultant you will strategically align technology with business objectives. This involves direct collaboration with clients as the client’s trusted advisor and oversee the analysis, design, and implementation of technology best practices for effective business solutions.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Collaborate closely with clients, providing valuable assistance in the implementation of cutting-edge SAP systems.
• Execute the build, testing, and deployment phases, emphasizing Life Science best practices and innovative customer processes within SAP S/4 HANA environment.

Your Experience

First and foremost, you are a genuine Management Consultant with exceptional communication skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, and a collaborative approach to creating exceptional solutions. You will also have relevant SAP skills, including:

Minimum of 4+ years of experience working with Transportation Management (TM).

Strong team player with a solid understanding of TM functional processes and the underlying technical object design.

Ability to evaluate and document various technical design approaches, including integrations with non-SAP ecosystems and 3PL/4PL setups.

Transportation Management (TM) Specific Skills:

• Proficiency in BRF, BRF+, workflow design, and implementation.
• Experience with enhancements for TM-specific processes using BTP and ABAP.
• Backend integration expertise (e.g., Proxy, ALE/IDoc, RFC, Web services, BAPIs).
• Skilled in TM enhancements based on process control strategies.
• Experience in setting up service providers and customers and managing web service calls from SAP TM.
• Functional/domain knowledge of SAP TM concepts such as planning, execution, freight settlement, EWM integrations, and data access definition.
• Proficient in ALV reports, workflows, SmartForms, ADOBE forms, SAPScripts, and dialog programming.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code approaches.
• Experience in Web Dynpro design and implementation.
• Proficient in debugging TM transactions.
• Output management for TM.
• Experience supporting integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• FIORI-driven development experience.

A proven track record in a ‘Big 4’, Major ‘SI’, or specialist SAP Consulting Firm would be preferred.

Experience in Life Sciences, or process manufacturing industries, particularly in sectors such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, medical manufacturing and chemicals, would be advantageous.
